Defending champion Stefan Everts challenged last Saturday, 17 April, the Spanish rally driver Carlos Sainz in the second edition of the Red Bull Motorclash. This thrilling race took place at the Circuit Carrières du Hainaut in Soignies.
Last year Stefan Everts won the race against Sébastien Loeb on the Wall of Geraardsbergen, but this year, he lost against the Spanish rally driver ‘El Matador’: Carlos Sainz (the winner of the Dakar Rally 2010).
The duel took place in the Carrières du Hainaut, the largest stone quarry in Europe and also the place where the famous Belgian Bluestone can be found. This rough landscape gave us an impressive race between these two champions.
Seven EFP cameramen and 1 minicam specialist all working for Videohouse recorded the race in Soignies and witnessed this exciting duel. Three minicams were installed in Carlos’car.
Videohouse made the recordings for the Red Bull Motorclash for 24Seven.
