On the 18th of June, 2009, the International Cycling Union announced that it had added a Pro Tour race to its calendar, to be held in Quebec on the 10th of September 2010 and a Pro Tour race in Montreal on the 12th of September, 2010, granting these a 5 year license.
To ensure the coverage and streaming of these 2 races, the Euro Media France teams crossed the Atlantic Ocean and after meticulous preparation, are ready to depart with the greatest racing cyclists for these two end-of-season Pro Tour events that will lead to the World Championships at the end of the month.
Euro Media France ensures the coverage of these two events by means of 3 image motor bikes, 1 sound motor bike and the entire HF system, relay plane, filming helicopter and the traditional ground reception system installed in collaboration with Radio Canada.
This direct grand premiere will be aired on Evasion and Radio Canada in Quebec, and on Eurosport in the United States and in Europe.
The HF department teams, under the technical direction of Bruno Bardini and staffed by Damien Espirat who is in charge of production, will be in Quebec for around ten days.
One week after the death of Laurent Fignon, the elderly runner who was a double winner of the Tour de France (1983,1984) and became a consultant for France Télévisions and Europe 1, the Euro Media France teams will have a very particular thought for this champion with whom they were accustomed to collaborating, regarding these two Pro-Tour races.
