Opéra en Plein Air [Opera Outdoors] is an artistic project that is both atypical and new, intended to support a new relationship with lyric art. The principle of the outdoor opera allows the discovery of these works in an original context and makes it possible to emphasize French heritage.
For its 10th anniversary, Opéra en Plein Air chose Carmen by Georges Bizet, one of the most popular and most performed works in the world. The opera brought to the stage by Patrick Poivre d’Arvor and Manon Savary has been performed 26 times since June, always in unusual places, such as the Château de Chambord, the Château de Fontainebleau or the main courtyard of the Hôtel National des Invalides.
The closing show was held last Saturday in the bay of Mont st-Michel, in front of the “Wonder of the West”, a World Heritage Site for Humanity masterpiece.
Paris Première broadcast this exceptional presentation of Carmen, by Jean-Louis Machu, live.
The technical teams of the Euro Media France OB truck L1 ensured the recording of the show, together with ACT 4, which was producing this unique event.
Renewed proof of the confidence granted to the Euro Media France teams, who once again were able to adapt and offer an exceptional service, to delight the eyes and ears of the viewers.
