Aïda at the ‘Invalides’ and on Paris Première

Aïda at the ‘Invalides’ and on Paris Première

Last Friday, OB truck XXL3 delved into the world of the lyrical arts in the courtyard of the splendid ‘Hôtel National des Invalides’, to produce the images for Aïda, staged by Elie Chouraqui.

On Saturday, against the backdrop of the twelfth open air opera event, Paris Première broadcast images from Verdi’s opera for Act IV (Jacques Clément and Danielle Rouméjon).

Bernard Gonner, with the support of a great musical consultant and script, ensured a great production of this 4 act story of impossible love in the time of the Pharaohs.
Euro Media France installed 8 cameras (including one Rail Junior) and provided the live French subtitling for the filming of this incredible musical work created in 1871 for the opening of the Suez Canal.
Since 2007, each year EMF has adapted to new and unprecedented set-ups in luxurious surroundings such as for Carmen in Mont St Michel, Rigoletto in the Château de Chambord, or Les Contes d’Hoffmann and Le Barbier de Séville in the Senate gardens.
