France Télévisions renew its trust in EUROMEDIA (France)

France Télévisions renews its trust in EUROMEDIA for all RF needs to produce the coverage of several of its cycling races for the next five years.

Following an open call for tender, France Télévisions has renewed its trust in EUROMEDIA for the provision of RF (Radio Frequency) means that will be used to cover a large part of the cycling races broadcast by the public group for the period 2016-2020.

Euro Media Group has chosen to extend its broadcast camera fleet with Sony’s HDC-2500 and HDC-4300

Euro Media Group (EMG) has signed a four-year contract to harmonize its broadcast camera fleet with a major investment in Sony’s HDC-HDC-2500 and HDC-4300.

In order to continue leading the industry, EMG needed to upgrade to a solution supporting next generation technology such as 4K, High Dynamic Range (HDR) and High Frame Rate (HFR) shooting. The group also needed to use a single camera platform that will enable to enhance the efficiency of their operations increasing the synergies between subsidiaries. Sony won the tender after a comprehensive process involving multiple broadcast camera companies.

Innovation: EUROMEDIA successfully performs a large-scale UHD capture

Faithful to its tradition of innovation in sports broadcasting, on Sunday evening EUROMEDIA notched up a major first with the OL/PSG match for Canal+.

After its technical success in capturing the Monaco/PSG match last September, EUROMEDIA has moved onto the next level in its mastery of UHD technology. For the first time in Europe, EUROMEDIA successfully executed the capture using 12 native UltraHD cameras.

La Cravate Solidaire at Euro Media Group

From 4th to 19th of February, Euro Media Group had organized a collect, La Cravate Solidaire.

La Cravate Solidaire is a charity whos idea is to provide free workwear to unemployed people and help them work on their image for future job interviews.

Since its creation in 2012, the charity helped more than 500 persons and collected more than 3 tons of clothes.

Since its 1st participation end of 2015 with its French subsidiary EUROMEDIA, the group has collected 50 kg of clothes.

Channel 4’s ‘The Jump’ is set to return to screens on 31st January 2016 with a new set of celebrities put to the challenge. This year’s show has been extended from the original ten-day period to throughout the whole of February for a number of live shows.

Series three will bring together 12 celebrities battling it out in Austria over an array of winter sports events including slalom, bobsleigh and skeleton to avoid taking on ‘The Jump’.
