3D: EMG organises training in Beijing

After opening an office in Beijing at the start of the year to access the Asian market, Euro Media Group is starting to train crews on site to provide services in 3D, HD, 4K, etc. and all of EMG’s state-of-the-art technologies.
EMG’s 3D crew has therefore crossed half the globe to organise a 3D training course in Beijing.

On the programme: technology, filming, post-production and 3D stereography.
This first training course brought together 14 participants: local TV channels, production companies, cameramen and directors; in particular, the CTAA (China Television Artists Association) was present.

Transpamedia: 6 French films in competition in Cannes

Last year, 6 films shot using Transpamedia technical equipment were presented in Cannes in the different selections for the festival. This year Transpamedia is improving its record by presenting 6 films in competition:

Capturing the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands in images was ‘perhaps the biggest audio-visual operation in Dutch history’, according to Dutch broadcaster NOS.

United was proud that NOS entrusted the best part of this operation to their facilities business. United’s images of the ceremony in the Nieuwe Kerk (the New Church) and in Dam Square were sent all over the world. To broadcast the abdication and inauguration from Amsterdam, a technical and editorial hub was built in the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal in Amsterdam, where the images from 115 cameras were pooled.

ACS debuts new Tracking Vehicle at Cheltenham Festival

This week saw Aerial Camera Systems (ACS) debut its new tracking vehicle, providing coverage for Channel 4 of the Cheltenham Festival. 
Six weeks in development this specially adapted Landrover Discovery is the latest addition to ACS’ fleet of tracking vehicles. 
The vehicle can be fitted with an HD Cineflex V14 or HD Gyron Stabilised Mount (pictured here) as well as various open stabilised mounts allowing for 3D rigs or 4K cameras, all of which can be operated from racing seats configured within the back of the vehicle.

"Last Man Standing" was THE live web-TV event of the year on 01.03.2013 at 6pm on MyVideo.de. Team Let’s Play Together with Gronkh & Sarazar battled against Team Piet Smiet’s Hard Reset with Piet & Brammen. The teams competed against each other over a period of 8 hours, playing the best computer games around today. They were battling for fame, honour and hardware. "Shooting Stars" at nobeo Studios

On 22.02.2013 at 9.15 pm Kate Abdo and Bürger Lars Dietrich presented RTL's new event show "Shooting Stars – Celebs at their Limits”. The show's tone was set by kids and young people. Young experts in the fields of vault, break-dance, piano and singing trained celebrities including Christine Neubauer, Sylvie van der Vaart and Thomas Helmer, showing them how it was done. After a period of intensive training the young coaches appeared on the show together with their celebrity pupils. The winning team was the one that performed best by the end of it all ...

The International Military Sports Council (CISM) has entrusted EMF with the filming and with international sales for the television rights for its future sporting events.

In 2013 Euro Media France will provide the technical services and the commercialisation of rights:

- the 2nd World Winter Games which will take place in Annecy from the 25th to the 30th March this year. 
- the 1st World Football Trophy taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan from the 2nd to the 14th July.

The E-box is put to the test in the casualty department!

After its noteworthy beginnings with Baby Boom,  the E-box (mobile control room and hub installed in 2 Algecos) worked on Star Academy, Hotel GB (in London) and made its big comeback to the hospital environment yesterday spending 24 hours in a casualty department.  

Broadcast in the second part of the evening on TF1, the show produced by Press & Co, subsidiary of Shine France, is an adaptation of the British show  “24 Hours in A&E” – services provided by the CTV teams in the UK(subsidiary of the Euro Media Group).

Skating

Skating

Again this winter, plenty of skating is happening in the Netherlands. 
United was asked by national broadcaster The NOS to record five of the eight tournaments which make up the Dutch skating season. 
The series started in November with the Dutch Distance Championships. In recent weeks, United took care of the recording of the Dutch Speed Championships in the Groningen Kardinge Ice Rink on 5th and 6th of January, and the European All-Round Championships in Thialf Heerenveen from 11th-13th January.

3-D in 1789, Euro Media did it!

At the time there were no cameras, let alone 3-D! Yet, Euro Media France did it with the 3-D film 1789, les Amants de la Bastille [1789, the Lovers of the Bastille]!

OB truck XL1 was installed backstage at the Palais des Sports in Paris for Keystone. 
After the world premiere that was the audiovisual filming of Mozart l’opéra rock [Mozart, the rock opera] in December 2010, Euro Media France is in action again with the 3-D filming of the show produced by Dove Attia and Albert Cohen.
