Let’s go to the 3 dimension exhibition!

EMG-3D is exhibiting for the second consecutive year at the Salon Dimension 3 (3 dimension exhibition)! 

Whilst they are currently on the clay courts of Roland Garros, and they are getting ready to go to London this summer, the Euro Media Group 3D equipment will be at Doc Pullman and Haussmann in Plaine-Saint Denis from 13th June and 15th June 2012.


Today, EMG-3D has the most optimised rigs in the broadcast market and is being entrusted with providing these for major international events.

The presidential inauguration: EMF at the controls

On Tuesday 15th May, François Hollande was officially inaugurated as the President of the French Republic.

Euro Media France was present in 3 of the 5 key locations for this formal day of inauguration.
EMF mobilised close to 80 technicians and 3 OB trucks in order to provide a live international signal for this special day:

  • OB truck XL4 (truck 24) was installed at the Place de l’Etoile to film the moment the new President came up the Champs-Elysées, to the foot of the Arc de Triomphe where François Hollande paid homage to the unknown soldier ...

EMF wins all the votes

On the 26th April and the 6th of May this year, Euro Media France made its technical equipment available to the presidential elections; an historic event that many French people followed closely, live on television.






 
As for every occasion, EMF provided to its clients, a collection of professionals with recognised abilities and know-how, particularly in terms of RF.

This façade, partly made in the Euro Media France laser die cutting and paint workshops in Bry sur Marne, should remain in place for several weeks.

EMG-3D is back from Réunion!!

EMG-3D is back from Réunion!!

EMG-3D has co-produced a series of six 3D documentaries about the world’s largest forests: the ones in France’s overseas territories.
After the expedition to Guiana, EMG-3D now offers you the chance to discover the forests of Réunion, in 52 minutes of 3D. 
Currently in post-production, this second episode in the series, directed by Olivier Chiabodo and co-produced with Lithium Productions, will be broadcast on Tuesday 20th March on Orange’s 3D TV channel, and in 2D on France Ô.

A team of ten people spent two weeks with the first 3D Sony TD300 cameras available in Europe.

Success for our co-productions!

Success for our co-productions!

In just over a month, Euro Media France has been collected numerous awards for its co-productions!
Kaboul Kitchen, co-produced with Scarlett Production (Joëy Faré) and Chic Film (Marco Cherqui) won two awards at the FIPA in Biarritz: the FIPA d’or for best series and the prize for best screenplay.
At the Luchon Festival, Erwan Creignou won a special mention for his role in Tout est bon dans le cochon, co-produced with Alchimic Films (Philippe Boulègue, Dominique Antoine).
Finally, Louis XI, le pouvoir fracassé has scooped two prizes: the Laurier for best drama, and the Laurier for best ...

Euro Media France acquires S-TV

S-TV joins Euro Media France and to a larger extent the Euro Media Group at the end of 2011.  
STV will become a subsidiary (100%) of Euro Media France and will bring with it new skills in the guise of mastery of production in the realms of Satellite broadcasting (with Globecast as a partner) with multi-camera SD/HD.

Developments in technology and the miniaturisation of equipment has meant that this “production and satellite broadcast” turnkey concept is also evolving in the markets of filming with 4-5 cameras, primarily in the fields of sporting and other events.

“Michael Forever” memorial concert in 3D

Tens of thousands of fans were at a concert in Cardiff on Saturday 8th October in memory of Michael Jackson, the “King of Pop” who died in 2009 in the middle of rehearsals in California at the age of 50.
The concert, called "Michael Forever", took place at the huge Cardiff Millenium Stadium, where the EMF team have often been to film rugby matches.

A real 3D adventure!

A real 3D adventure!

And no, it’s not a remake of Apocalypse Now in 3D! The brave Euro Media France staff have launched a major adventure…

EMF has joined up with Lithium Production to make a series of 6 films of 52 minutes each, which will show the many facets of our biodiversity. Olivier Chiabodo is in charge of the expedition and will take TV viewers and internet surfers on an adventure to assess the state of biodiversity in the forests of France’s overseas territories.

As 2011 is the year of the overseas territories, EMF has decided to honour their extraordinary diversity ...
