EMF at Main Square Festival!

Main Square Festival has made a name for itself as one of the heavyweight venues of the musical landscape by offering a schedule this weekend consisting of many big names: Black Eyed Peas, Jamiroquai, Phoenix, - M -, Ben Harper, Pearl Jam, David Guetta, but also Gossip, P!nk, Rammstein, Pony Pony Run Run were on stage.

Euro Media France also took part, albeit working in the shadows on behalf of SDP, which was also producing “The Musical”. An operation consisting of 7 cameras, with a 10 metre crane and the L2 (728) OBtruck allowed the director to cover the event.

Cinevideogroup and nobeo broadcast Sonisphere Festival to Cinemas worldwide

On June 22nd and 23rd, 2010 the Sonisphere Festival came to Sofia, Bulgaria. On the first day of the festival Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax were on the set list. These four legendary acts had never before performed together on the same stage. This unique event was broadcast worldwide via satellite to 800 movie theatres. In addition, on October 01st, 2010 a double-DVD and Blu-ray featuring the recordings of the event will be released.

The superloupe in Kamtchatka

Ushuaia production called upon DVS, a subsidiary company of Euro Media France, for the Ultra slow motion scenes of its "Ushuaïa Nature" broadcast, soon to be aired on TF1.

Viewers will thus discover new and spectacular sequences (500 images/s) of bears fishing for salmon in the tumultuous waters of the Kamchatka area.

They will also be able to follow the flight of the Pyrenean raptors in another broadcast, with a detail level never before seen; the effect is gripping!

Each year in the Netherlands the army opens up one of its barracks to demonstrate to the public their various units and their operational skills at home and abroad. The Army Days use a reoccurring formula consisting of shows, demonstrations and lots of hands-on activities for the visitors. United Broadcast Facilities is the facilitating partner for the Army Days and this year the event was even broadcasted on their own digital television channel!

Nobeo covers "TV total Car Ball World Cup"

A week before the start of the World Cup in South Africa, ProSieben broadcast several ‘specials’. The first was Stefan Raab’s World Cup before the World Cup – the "TV total Car Ball World Cup 2010". The programme was broadcast live on June 4th at 20.15 and featured 8 nations in two groups of 4 teams competing for the cup at the LANXESS arena in Cologne.
Celebrities included Ailton (Brazil), Harry Wijnvoord (Netherlands), Giovianni Zarella (Italy), Joey Kelly (Ireland), Daniel Aminati (Ghana) who along with many others started their cars in front of 15,000 fans.

Euro Media France stars at NRJ Music Awards

Euro Media France played a major part in this year’s NRJ Music Awards, which were broadcast live in HD by TF1 on 23rd January 2010. The Awards were created in 1999 by radio station NRJ in conjunction with TF1 and this 11th ceremony, staged in Cannes at the start of the MIDEM convention, was presented by Nikos Aliagasse.

Euro Media France supplied 14 HD cameras, three Airbox servers and an LSM digital player-recorder, as well as overseeing the sound recording. More than 40 technicians were involved in the broadcast, which ran for almost three and a half hours.
