France Télévisions renew its trust in EUROMEDIA (France)

France Télévisions renews its trust in EUROMEDIA for all RF needs to produce the coverage of several of its cycling races for the next five years.

Following an open call for tender, France Télévisions has renewed its trust in EUROMEDIA for the provision of RF (Radio Frequency) means that will be used to cover a large part of the cycling races broadcast by the public group for the period 2016-2020.

The UCI Track Cycling World Championships are being held this year at London’s own Lee Valley VeloPark. True to form, the roar of the crowd has lifted the roof as the World’s track stars race to make sporting history and gain the coveted rainbow jerseys.

Faithful to its tradition of innovation in sports broadcasting, on Sunday evening EUROMEDIA notched up a major first with the OL/PSG match for Canal+.

After its technical success in capturing the Monaco/PSG match last September, EUROMEDIA has moved onto the next level in its mastery of UHD technology. For the first time in Europe, EUROMEDIA successfully executed the capture using 12 native UltraHD cameras.

Handball World Championship 2015 - Qatar

From the 15th of January, the technical team of Videohouse (Belgium subsidiary of Euro Media Group) will provide the live coverage of the World Championship Handball with 4 television trucks.

This is the 24th edition of the World Men's Handball Championship, organized by the International Handball Federation (IHF). For the first time, Qatar is hosting this tournament. It will take place until the 1st of February.

For the first time ever in the history of the UCI Road World Championships, selected bikes and riders will be equipped with real time location technology and cameras, showing action from inside the peloton during the 8-day event.
The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) announced today that it will be conducting a test of positioning technology in the UCI Road World Championships in Ponferrada, Spain. On July 13th 2014, teams from the Euro Media Group delivered coverage of the FIFA World Cup Final from the legendary Maracana stadium in Brazil.

World Rowing Cup : EMF goes with the flow

Last weekend from 20 to 22 June 2014, the 2nd stage of the Rowing World Cup took place on the Aiguebelette Lake in Savoie. The HFi5 OB unit and the France Télévisions OB production unit were installed in the technical area by the lakeside to film around 700 rowers from 45 countries, some of whom are Olympic games regulars.

Euro Media France was in charge of the camera at the starting line and the RF links on the catamarans.
