Euro Media Group and SDNsquare announce long term partnership

Euro Media Group (EMG) has announced that it has subscribed to a capital increase in the Belgium-based company SDNsquare, giving it a minority position, and will engage in a long-term partnership to develop advanced, future-proof IP production solutions.

SDNsquare provides solutions to solve storage and networking challenges. Its clients, typically in media environments, require networks that are reliable, predictable and easy to manage. In a world that is moving rapidly to IP, SDNsquare’s GRID media controller enables the automatic management and configuration of an IP media network, with guaranteed data or media flows.

3ZERO2 TV will be the official technical supplier for the 30th Summer Universiade Napoli 2019. It is with deep sadness that we inform you that Jean-Pierre Barry passed away. Aged 70, Jean-Pierre Barry was the founder of Euro Media Group.

Jean-Pierre Barry marked the history of the television industry in France. In 1983, Jean-Pierre founded Euro Media Television with his wife Chantal and his childhood friend Luc Geoffroy.

Live “fully digital” sound recording

Euro Media France has just achieved a major first during the « La Grande Battle » show produced by Banijay and broadcast by France 2.

This music competition in which contemporary music groups perform a piece of classical music, benefited from the installation of 80 digital microphones used simultaneously for a live broadcast coordinated by Euro Media France sound crews headed by Gwen Yvon and Jean-Marc Lardy.

The Voice, a music talent show produced by Shine France and aired on TF1 needs no introduction. However let us show you how we produce this programme.

First of all, note that the show is divided into two parts:

The first part consists of blind auditions, battle rounds and for the first time, knockout rounds that were pre-recorded between 04 November 2013 and 14 January 2014 at the Studios du Lendit on stage L1 and L2 and with the help of our XL1 OB truck. Euro Media reinforces its post-production facilities. Ideally situated just outside Paris, four studios ranging from 25 to 75 m², a Quantel calibration workstation and around twenty editing suites are already operational and provide post-production services for a number of light entertainment programmes, TV series, TV films and documentaries.

PAI Partners to acquire Euro Media Group

PAI Partners, a leading European private equity firm headquartered in Paris, has made a binding offer to purchase Euro Media Group (EMG), Europe’s leading provider of audiovisual facilities and services. EMG’s founders and original shareholders, including Sofinim (Ackermans & van Haaren group) and Banijay Holding, will reinvest alongside PAI Partners in the proposed transaction, together with the senior management team.
