One of the most spectacular assignments that Dutch United is proud to get each year has got to be Wie is de Mol? / Who is the Mole? (WIDM).

The programme revolves around a game in which the candidates have to work together to earn money.One of them is ‘the mole’, who secretly sabotages the game. He or she must be uncovered by the candidates. In each episode, one of the players leaves. Nuclear Security Summit

The Dutch governmental seat, The Hague, hosted the Nuclear Security Summit 2014 (NSS) on March 24th and 25th. This was an international summit aimed at preventing nuclear terrorism worldwide. At the summit, leaders from around the whole world spoke about the security of nuclear material. The Dutch Ministry of Defence asked United to make a few short films to offer to the NSS guests. Dutch broadcaster RTL 5 is looking for new singer-songwriter talent every Sunday evening in the programme The Hit. Well-known Dutch artists choose the songwriter who, in their opinion, has The Hit in their hands, and try to sing the song for the charts. United handles The Hit’s recording and post-production for producer BlazHoffski/Warner Bros. In United’s large studio at the Mediahaven in Amsterdam there are six ‘pitching rooms’, with a singer-songwriter and two cameras in each. Euro Media France's latest brainchild, Your Smart Studio, successfully completed its first mission yesterday

The 150m² studio complete with LED lighting and talk decor, an HD production unit controlling 5 remotely-controlled cameras including one travelling, is delivered "ready to shoot". Recording and reading formats are fully digital. Located inside our Boulogne studios, Your Smart Studio is available for rental in 3½-hour sessions, intended primarily for making podcasts and live broadcasts. Included in the price are two technical support technicians and 8Mb symmetrical SDSL connectivity.
You just need to find your director, sound engineer and multicam operator.

So You Think You Can Dance the Next Generation

The dance show, So You Think You Can Dance, has a sequel in The Netherlands: SYTYCD The Next Generation, which is to be recorded by United in their Studios in Aalsmeer.

This programme revolves around the dance talent of children aged 9 to 14. Two hundred Dutch and Flemish children auditioned: 100 went through to the bootcamp round, which United ENG´s recorded.

The first three studio shows are to be recorded semi-live in full HD by United Multicamera on Saturdays as labour laws do not allow children to work on Sundays, the day of transmission. The final show however ...

United expands in Amsterdam

Dutch company United, based in media city Hilversum, wants to expand in the world of entertainment in the coming years. With that growth come large, well-equipped studios - preferably in desirable locations. 
United is therefore expanding into the new building ‘Mediahaven’ in Amsterdam, less than 10 minutes away from Central Station. 

United will not only operate the two studios: customers in and around Amsterdam will also be able to make use of ENG’s and Post Production there.
