10 Years of Austria’s "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" celebrated with Special Live Editions

ORF 1 – the Austrian state broadcaster celebrated 10 years and 650 editions of “Die Millionenshow” with two special live programmes broadcast from Studio 7 of Euro Media Group’s German subsidiary - nobeo. On Friday 12th and 19th March, host Armin Assinger and ten contestants played a special version of the quiz which featured an audience joker & interactive play from the live audience and the viewing public. With a little luck and a lot of knowledge the viewers had the opportunity to win 5,000 to 15,000 euros.

Euro Media Group’s subsidiary – nobeo records Green Day concert in Munich

After nine years, the American punk trio "Green Day" has once again visited Munich and put on an amazing show.

The band performed a selection from eight of their albums at the sell-out concert at the Olympic Hall - there was something for everyone – fast songs and ballads. All their best known hits, including “Basket Case”, “When I Come Round”, American Idiot” and “21 Guns” were enjoyed by the audience of some 13,000 fans.

Making a return to Dutch television is the hugely popular morning show Koffietijd (Coffee Break). The décor for the modernised programme is the villa that was used in De Gouden Kooi (The Golden Cage) - the reality soap that caused a stir in 2006-2008. Several UBF units worked on the show: Cinevideogroup, Unicam, Postproduction, Decor and Filmpartners.

UBF unit Cinevideogroup and Endemol Sport record Superleague Formula

Superleague Formula is an international motor racing championship combining top-league football with a passion for motor racing. Major football clubs from Europe and throughout the world are entering their own teams to do battle on the racetrack. This successful international competition is seen as the ‘next best thing’ to Formula One.

Cinemas show 6 Nations Rugby in 3D with the help of Euro Media Sports

The French national rugby team - Les Bleus - celebrated 100 years of playing in what is now the 6 Nations. This anniversary was further marked by the first 3D broadcast of a rugby match in France, an achievement made possible through the technical expertise of Euro Media Sport.

Working with France Télévisions, CielEcran and Eutelsat, Euro Media Sports provided facilities including eight 3D camera rigs, made up of 16 cameras. Euro Media France stars at NRJ Music Awards

Euro Media France played a major part in this year’s NRJ Music Awards, which were broadcast live in HD by TF1 on 23rd January 2010. The Awards were created in 1999 by radio station NRJ in conjunction with TF1 and this 11th ceremony, staged in Cannes at the start of the MIDEM convention, was presented by Nikos Aliagasse.

Euro Media France supplied 14 HD cameras, three Airbox servers and an LSM digital player-recorder, as well as overseeing the sound recording. More than 40 technicians were involved in the broadcast, which ran for almost three and a half hours.

Videohouse - 3ème remise des Mia's

Vendredi, le 8 janvier, les MIA’s ou les Music Industry Awards ont été remis pour la troisième fois. La cérémonie a eu lieu à Videohouse dans le Studio 7.

Les prix flamands de musique sont là pour tout le monde qui s’occupe professionnellement de la musique en Flandre quel que soit le genre ou le public. Cet année non moins que 16 MIA’s étaient remis ! Absynthe Minded a gagné les prix les plus importants de la soirée (chanson de l’année et album de l’année).
