PAI Partners to acquire Euro Media Group

PAI Partners, a leading European private equity firm headquartered in Paris, has made a binding offer to purchase Euro Media Group (EMG), Europe’s leading provider of audiovisual facilities and services. EMG’s founders and original shareholders, including Sofinim (Ackermans & van Haaren group) and Banijay Holding, will reinvest alongside PAI Partners in the proposed transaction, together with the senior management team.

At NAB SHOW 2014 in Las Vegas, Digital Video Sud (DVS), provider of ultra motion services, and BLT Italia, manufacturer of Broadcast video server, strengthen their collaboration introducing a Sport Package with includes ultra slow motion camera

Elysée : EMF at the summit

On 6 and 7 December, Euro Media France parked its XL4 OB unit in Avenue de Marigny for the summit on peace and security taking place at the Elysée Palace. Twelve Sony cameras were set up in the “cour d’honneur” (main courtyard), the winter garden and the reception hall to cover the arrival of the Heads of State and the press conferences.  

The international feed sent to the network node that is operated by AV France was then transmitted worldwide and namely to the 24-hour TV news channels.

United is introducing a small but fully equipped 4K recording van: the iOne.
It is ready for the future, innovative and equipped for (amongst other things) business to business productions, internet productions and streaming, smaller sporting events and screen recordings with a smaller crew.

Technical feat across Amsterdam

On November 10th United facilitated the MTV European Music Awards (MTV EMA) for MTV, one of the most sensational music award shows in the world. With the main show from the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, three remote stages in Paradiso, the Melkweg, the Heineken Music Hall and the Red Carpet show at Endemol, the MTV EMA provided an enormous technical challenge.

Hollandse Handen (Dutch Hands) has long been more than the set designer for Dutch United.
This United unit’s activities broadened in recent years to designing museums, exhibitions and events, the buildings of attractions and business interiors and the rental of props and storage. Hollandse Handen recently completed a special project: the Junior Resistance Museum in Amsterdam. Four witnesses stand at the centre of this exhibition: Eva, Jan, Nelly and Henk. For the first time in Dutch television history, an exclusive serie about the Dutch Forensic Investigation is on the television: ‘Crime Scene: Trails to the Offender’.
The reality programme offers an exciting, realistic and probing look behind the scenes of the Dutch Forensic Investigation.
