The Paris Studios welcome De Niro and Pfeiffer

Euro Media France is very pleased to announce the imminent arrival of Robert de Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer for the start of filming in the Paris Studios in July. 

Located 30 minutes north of the capital, the Paris Studios, at the heart of the ‘Cité du Cinéma’, are waiting for the two American actors for the filming of Malavita, an adaptation of Tonino Benacquista’s book by Luc Besson.

40 years down the line, the traditional formulas, the famous theme tune and the long-time technical partner for Des chiffres et des lettres are still going strong!

Euro Media France has been able to build a long term relationship of trust with its clients: this is why, 40 years on, the oldest daily PAF (French television scene) programme still broadcast on TV (also one of the oldest in Europe), has chosen to hold its birthday special in the EMF buildings.

EMF is providing the technical services for the new entertainment show on TF1: The Voice, la plus belle voix.
From the OB truck XL1 to sets L1 and L2 at the Lendit studios, with the management of thirty or so personnel and 16 cameras (including 2 camera booms and 1 Steadicam - Mathieu Caudroy), Euro Media France is providing Shine France with the best of its know-how.

Directed by Tristan Carné (Danse avec les Stars, Téléthon etc.) and presented by Nikos Aliagas, this new format show relies on a totally different selection and judging process than the usual music ...

Euro Media France acquires S-TV

S-TV joins Euro Media France and to a larger extent the Euro Media Group at the end of 2011.  
STV will become a subsidiary (100%) of Euro Media France and will bring with it new skills in the guise of mastery of production in the realms of Satellite broadcasting (with Globecast as a partner) with multi-camera SD/HD.

Developments in technology and the miniaturisation of equipment has meant that this “production and satellite broadcast” turnkey concept is also evolving in the markets of filming with 4-5 cameras, primarily in the fields of sporting and other events.

UFA Entertainment appointed FilmPartners to process the inaugural TV romance show Schwer verliebt, in which lonely hearts seek the perfect partner for time spent happily as a twosome and ultimately happiness in their love lives.
On behalf of Grundy Light Entertainment, FilmPartners undertook postproduction of hit RTL II show My Name Is.

UBF unit 'United Decor' changes its name to 'HollandseHanden'

UBF unit 'United Decor' had been looking for a new name for some time.
Its range of skills, disciplines and activities had become so diverse that the old hat didn't fit any more.
The unit's growth strategy had been targeting an increasingly broader market, such as furnishing museums, kitting out exhibitions and events, building public attractions and company interiors, as well as renting out props and storage space.
United Decor needed a name that covered such wide diversity, as well as one that addressed the hands-on mentality of its personnel.

Euro Media France has joined with Jem Productions (Jacques Kirsner and Anne-Marie Marsaguet) to co-produce Une Histoire de l’Outre Mer, a 3-part documentary series which will be broadcast on Sunday 8th, 15th and 22nd May on France 5.
These films are part of a series of documentaries which Euro Media France has co-produced: Une histoire de l’armée française and Une histoire de la diplomatie française.

Holland's Next Millionaire

Dutch broadcaster RTL 4 has come up with a brand new show: 'Holland's Next Millionaire'.

In the programme the winning candidate not only walks away with one million euros but also takes home an additional million to distributed among his or her friends.

The show's eight episodes, as well as the grand finale, were recorded by UBF unit Cinevideogroup.
The recordings used eleven cameras; two of them fixed to the ceiling and remote controlled.
